CM described his journey from Narendra to Swami Vivekananda as the journey from a seeker to a pioneer of the era.
The Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda had made 'Get up, wake up and do not stop till you achieve your goal' as the mantra of life. His message was – Unless there is concentration on the goal, determination on resolution and continuity in action, success cannot be achieved. No one can stop the one who imbibes this feeling from being successful. CM told the youth that if they have willpower and determination, they can become agents of change. The inspiration to move out of the box propels us forward.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed the above views in a program organized on 'National Youth Day' on Monday at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan with the resolution of 'Youth Power-Rashtra Shakti'. The Chief Minister visited the exhibition and short film here. He presented Swami Vivekananda Youth Award to 10 youth, three Yuvak Mangal Dal and three Mahila Mangal Dal. CM paid homage to Jijabai Maa Sahib, who created the national hero Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, on her holy birth anniversary.
Young Sanyasi play an important role in making India aware of the self-consciousness of Indianness.
CM Yogi said that Swami Vivekananda represented India which had almost lost its self-consciousness due to dormant consciousness. At that time a handful of foreign invaders succeeded in enslaving India. A few people were looting India. During the period when the civilisation, culture and tradition of this place was being insulted, the young monk Swami Vivekananda had played an important role in awakening the dormant consciousness and making India aware of the self-consciousness of Indianness.
I come from that tradition of India, which has always shown the path of human welfare.

Seeing the embodiment of Swami Vivekananda's faith, the CM said that Swami Vivekananda had a strong belief that India would establish itself as a world leader on the strength of youth power and spiritual consciousness. We are seeing it materializing today. A day before independence in 1947, the painful partition of the country took place. The massacre of millions was hurting every Indian. Not every Indian was able to celebrate the Independence Day, but when the country was completing 75 years of independence, under the leadership of PM Modi, people joined the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence spiritually and conscience. Those who could not join directly, moved forward by becoming a part of 'Har Ghar Tiranga'. While giving the vision of developed India in 2022, PM Modi made it clear what kind of India should be after completion of 100 years of independence.

CM expressed his expectations from Youth and Mahila Mangal Dal
The CM placed two expectations before the Youth and Mahila Mangal Dal. He said that work is being done for sports grounds in every gram panchayat, mini stadiums in development blocks and big stadiums in every district. Youth and Mahila Mangal Dal should also play an active role in this effort and become a part of the campaign. Create separate teams for sports at Gram Panchayat level, form separate teams at Nyaya Panchayat level, then become part of the competition at Block, District, Mandal and State level, which will create good teams at every level. This will provide a platform to the new youth to move forward. CM mentioned PM Modi's vision 'Kheloge to Khiloge' and told that Khelo India, Fit India Movement, MP Sports Competition, Rural League by the State Government, MLA Sports Competition are going on. If the youth participate in sports competitions, they will play a big role in the development of the village through teamwork. He appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs. Said, a campaign has to be launched against drugs, you give confidential information, the government will confiscate the property of the drug dealer. Addiction makes the young generation, society and nation hollow, hence there is a need to attack against it.
CM's water conservation, a tree in the name of mother, emphasis on water conservation
CM stressed on water conservation from the youth and Mahila Mangal Dal members. He said, get the check dam, Amrit Sarovar and old bridged wells renovated in the village. Stand in the direction of water conservation. From next time, special emphasis should be given on environment-water conservation in the awards. The Chief Minister said, technical and physical monitoring of the works will be done. Those who compete in this competition will be given special importance in the state level Swami Vivekananda Youth Award. There are old rivers in every district, but many are occupied. Motivate villagers to donate labour. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new scheme of ‘Developed India – Ji Ram Ji’. Through this, employment has to be created in every village. By using this money we can move towards the revival of the river. Emphasizing on 'one tree in the name of mother' by every citizen in the village during the rainy season, the Chief Minister said that in the last 8 years, intensive plantation and development work has been done in UP and UP is at number one among the big states, which has increased the green cover.
Chief Minister inspired for team spirit
CM motivated the awarded youth to work with team spirit in the village along with sports competitions. He said that no one should be allowed to encroach on sports grounds, mini stadiums and stadiums. Carry out water conservation campaign, river-well revival, large plantation. CM gave a target of planting 35 crore saplings in the first week of July.
Told the youth – everything can be done with effort
CM told the youth that everything is possible with efforts. Many schemes are running for the youth. Now recommendations, money transactions and 'Mahabharat ke Rishtey' cannot be taken out for recovery, now if you do so then you will go to jail. Investment proposals worth Rs 15 lakh crore have been put on ground. Traditional enterprises have been encouraged through ODOP. Together, two crore youth have got employment and job guarantee. PM Startup and PM Standup schemes were also implemented for self-employment. To make them digitally competent, smartphones and tablets are being distributed to two crore youth, till now 50 lakh youth have been connected with it. He also gave complete information about CM Yuva Scheme and said that till now more than one lakh youth have availed its benefits.
Endless possibilities in UP, employment increasing through tourism too
CM said that the youth should get information about AI, machine learning, robotics, drone technology etc. to connect with new technology and create employment by using them as much as possible. For this, centers have also been developed in UP in partnership with Tata Technology, Samsung etc. Today the lowest unemployment rate is in UP. Gave work to the youth and made them competent in technology. There are endless possibilities in UP. Along with investment, tourism is also becoming a major source of employment. Now there is no curfew-riot in UP, everything is fine here. More than 66 crore devotees came to Mahakumbh. Earlier, not even lakhs of people used to come to UP, now 66-67 crore people come to the tourist destination. Employment is being created through guides, taxi drivers, hotels, restaurants etc.
Along with technology and progress, morality, discipline and social sensitivity are also necessary.
CM said that the youth will have to be prepared for new areas of innovation, research-development and employment. CM also highlighted the challenges of technology.
