State Bureau, New Delhi. Keeping in mind the sentiments of three crore citizens of Delhi, State Congress President Devendra Yadav has written a letter to all the MPs of the country expressing concern over the worsening pollution. He said that this letter is like a warning. We have to take responsibility to ensure clean air for ourselves and our future generations.
He requested in the letter that with everyone's intervention and help on this very serious issue, he wants cooperation to fulfill the demand of special discussion in Parliament by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
The capital has turned into a gas chamber
Yadav said the capital has turned into a “gas chamber” due to increasing deadly pollution. People here are craving clean air to breathe. Everyone's health is being seriously affected. He said that this crisis is no longer just a seasonal problem of winter, but has become a perennial health emergency. Yadav said that Congress has also demanded the Delhi government to call an all-party meeting several times. We believe that to solve this problem, a concrete and long-term plan should be worked out by taking suggestions from all parties as well as important social organizations and experts.
