Coupling Of Farakka Express Going From Varanasi To Ayodhya Broke, Train Stopped For Two Hours

Jagran correspondent, Jaunpur. Farakka Express remained standing for about two hours due to breakage of coupling at Zafarabad railway station on Monday. Passengers also faced problems due to late departure of the train.

Station Superintendent Sunil Kumar said that the fault was rectified and Farakka Express was dispatched and other trains were taken out from other lines. Farakka Express going from Varanasi to Ayodhya reached platform number two at 2:10 pm.

When the train moved ahead from the station, the coupling between the two bogies broke leaving one bogie after the engine. As soon as pilot Sadanand came to know about the breakage of the coupling, he stopped the train and informed station superintendent Sunil Kumar.

After this, information about the incident was given to senior technician Pranjal Yadav. After two hours of effort, the coupling was connected and the train was sent to its destination at 4.05 pm.
