Criminals Wreak Havoc In Darbhanga, Looted Gold And Cash Worth Rs 40 Lakh From A Gold Trader.

The market value of the looted gold is estimated to be around Rs 40 lakh. According to the information, Sanjay Soni, resident of Bahera, runs Neha Jewelers shop at Benipur Bharat Chowk. Late on Sunday evening, he was closing the shop and going home with one of his workers. Meanwhile, businessman Sonu, sitting on a motorcycle, was hit on the head with a stick from behind near Brahmasthan in the middle of Ashapur Bahera.

The employee ran away when the miscreants attacked. Meanwhile, the miscreants opened the trunk and ran away with the gold and cash kept in it. This information was immediately given to the police. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Confirming the incident, Police Station Head Haridwar Sharma said that about 350 grams of gold was looted by beating with sticks.
