The police took the DCM out of the ditch with a hydra. Police Station Head Shyam Kumar Pal says that the driver was safely rescued with the help of the fire brigade. There was no loss of life in the accident.
At the same time, Vikas and Subhash, residents of Jingana, were going somewhere by bike. Near Baba's Purva village on Lucknow Prayagraj road, the bike went out of control and collided with a pickup parked on the roadside. Both were taken to CHC in injured condition, where they were treated.
