Dehradun: Girl Student Forced To Marry In Saharanpur By Giving Her Intoxicating Tea, Case Registered Against Accused

Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. A student studying in a college located in Patel Nagar has accused a young man of giving her drugs in tea and taking her to Saharanpur and forcibly marrying her.

It is alleged that the young man is now threatening her that if she tells anyone about the marriage, he will kill her. In this case, Patelnagar Kotwali police has registered a case against the accused.

In the complaint given to the police, a girl told that she was studying in a college. He met Jaiveer Tomar resident of Chhutmalpur district Saharanpur.

On 29 November 2025, Jaiveer took her to Selaqui on the pretext of luring her. After that he came to ISBT, where Jaiveer's relative Ajay served him tea and breakfast.

After this she was not conscious and the accused took her to Saharanpur. After regaining consciousness, she asked Jaiveer to leave the house, but he said that he was in Saharanpur and both of them had to get married here.

When she refused to marry him, the accused threatened to kill her and her family.

It is alleged that Jaiveer forcefully married her in a temple in Saharanpur and then brought her to ISBT and left her.

The accused threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the marriage. Out of fear he stopped going to college.

Inspector Chandrabhan Adhikari, in-charge of Patelnagar police station, said that a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint. The case is being investigated.
