Delhi High Court issued orders.
Jagran correspondent, South Delhi. Delhi High Court has issued orders to encroach on the valuable land of Agra Canal Department in Ali village. On the basis of this order, Saket District Court appointed bailiff to remove the encroachers from the land and demolish the construction work.
A notice was pasted by the court bailiff in Ali village Basti two days ago. In this, they were instructed that all the occupants should vacate the land by December 14, otherwise they would be removed by force.
On Monday morning, apart from the bailiff, the Executive Engineer of Agra Canal Department reached Ali village near the police force. About five to six houses were sealed here. Meters were uprooted. As soon as the action team reached near the mosque, a large number of protesting people gathered there.
The action team instructed the Maulana of the mosque to vacate the mosque by tomorrow, otherwise it will be sealed. The head of police station Sarita Vihar has given more time to all the people till tomorrow. On Tuesday, all the houses will be sealed as it is.
The police station chief said that demolition action is not being taken yet because Grape 4 is imposed due to pollution. As soon as Grape 4 is removed, all illegal constructions will be demolished.
