Sukhbir Badal challenges DGP to file a case against him
State Bureau, Jagran, Chandigarh. Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal has warned DGP Gaurav Yadav that if he has the courage, he should file a case against him in the case of missing 328 holy forms of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Sukhbir Badal left the party's core committee meeting midway on Thursday and reached the DGP office along with party leaders.
While talking to journalists at the police headquarters after meeting with the DGP, Sukhbir Badal said that the Aam Aadmi Party has made the police a private army. Catch whoever you want or give them the leaflet. When nothing was found in the drugs case, a case of disproportionate assets was registered against Majithia.
He said that the SIT formed to investigate the missing sacred forms is interrogating me instead of investigating it. A case is being filed against the CAs who used to look after my work or look after it. They raided CA's house in Ludhiana and took away the balance sheet of my company.
Sukhbir Badal said, "Today I told the DGP to file a complaint against me. People should not be harassed. I have also given my balance sheet and bank statements etc. to the DGP, so that he can investigate comfortably. He made it clear that the Akali Dal will neither be afraid nor bow down. It will not allow hooliganism to continue in Punjab."
He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann used to claim that he would destroy happiness and luxury. If you have courage then demolish it. They said that they would stop the buses, but could not do so because everything is legal.
On the other hand, in view of the arrival of Akali leaders and increasing gathering of workers at the police headquarters located in Sector-9, Chandigarh Police had to increase security. When two police buses reached there, discussions started that the police could take the Akali workers into custody.
