AI Smart Baby Band: Rishika Bharatiya, a student from Dhanbad, has taken a commendable initiative to make the safety and monitoring of children easier with the help of technology. Rishika, a class 9 student of Dinobili School CMRI, has made a smart baby monitoring band. Which caught the attention of the judges at the state level Inspire Award.

The band is completely AI based. It can be worn on the child's hand. It has sensors and microphones. They keep an eye on the activities of the child. If the child falls, has fever, cries or is in any unusual condition, the band sends an alert.

This alert is received directly on the parents' mobile app. Child location tracking facility is also available. If the child goes beyond the prescribed limits, the parents get informed.

Rishika's father Prof. who made this smart band. Rahul Bharatiya is Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at IIT ISM Dhanbad. The smart baby monitoring band will represent the state in the national level Inspire Award standard scheme competition to be held in March.

Boon for working parents

15 projects from Jharkhand were selected in the state level Inspire Award competition held in Ranchi. Rishika was also included in this. The smart baby monitoring band received special appreciation due to its innovation and social utility.

Rishika told that today a large number of parents are working and there is concern about the safety of children. Keeping this problem in mind this idea was developed. This band not only reduces the worries of parents, but also ensures the safety of children through technology.

Support from family and school became inspiration

Rishika's father Prof. Rahul Bharatiya is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at IIT ISM Dhanbad and mother Priyanka Bharatiya is also a working woman. It was only with the experience and guidance of the parents that this project took its real shape.

School teachers also played an important role in improving the project. Principal of Dinobili School CMRI, Tanushree Banerjee and teacher Debjit Pal said that Rishika's selection is a matter of pride for Dhanbad.
