Statement given earlier also
However, this is not the first time that Digvijay Singh has raised questions on the working style of Congress. Last week also he had raised the need for reforms within the Congress and decentralization of power.
Congress leader Salman Khurshid, reacting to Digvijay Singh's statement, said, "Praising and assessing facts are two different things. Digvijay Singh is an inspiration for many people. The ideology of RSS is contrary to the country. So should we also start torturing people? Digvijay Singh is with the Congress leadership. We and Digvijay Singh reject the entire ideology of RSS."
According to Congress leader Alka Lamba, "We should assess why our enemy is strong? This is democracy. But, we do not agree with the ideology of RSS."
Congress leader Pawan Kheda says, "I do not agree with what he (Digvijay Singh) says. Godse supporters cannot be Gandhi supporters."
