New Delhi. Jaiprakash Associates (JP Associates News) Limited Company, some people whose Jaiprakash Associates share certificates (paper shares) were lost or misplaced. He had complained to the company that his share papers were missing. Now the company has completed all the investigation and legal process and has issued Letter of Confirmation to those people in place of "duplicate share certificate". This information has been sent to the Stock Exchange (BSE).

This means that now their old paper shares have been considered canceled and new digital/legal documents (Letter of Confirmation) have been given, through which they can sell or transfer their shares. Duplicate shares have been issued for the people whose names are in this notice.

Adani Group's JP Associates

Billionaire Gautam Adani's company Adani Enterprises is trying to acquire JP Associates as its own as soon as possible. Adani Group has now submitted its nearly ₹15,000 crore resolution plan for bankrupt Jaiprakash Associates (JAL) to the Allahabad NCLT. This is the same plan which was approved by the Committee of Creditors (CoC) in November. Now NCLT will hear it further in January 2026.

How many votes did Jaiprakash Associates get?

This proposal of JP Associates got about 93% votes in e-voting. The most interesting thing is that NARCL (National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited) itself has 85.43% voting power. That means if he said yes then approval was considered certain. Some other lenders did not vote and ACRE (the entity handling Yes Bank's share of debt) voted in opposition.
