Dialogue partner, Rajauli. The drain dispute took a violent turn on Thursday in Sati Sthan locality under Nagar Panchayat of Rajauli police station area. A woman died during the fight. There is an atmosphere of anger in the area after the incident.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and detained two people including the main accused. According to the police, there was a dispute going on between Gotiyas regarding the drain. Meanwhile, the accused attacked the woman, due to which she was seriously injured.
After the incident, with the help of relatives and local people, the injured woman was immediately taken to the sub-divisional hospital Rajauli, where the doctor on duty after preliminary examination confirmed the woman's death due to excessive bleeding.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Rajauli Police Station Head reached the spot along with the police force and interrogated the relatives. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Raids are being conducted to arrest other absconding accused. Regarding the matter, Rajauli SDPO Gulshan Kumar said that the incident took place over a drain dispute. Two people have been detained and further action is underway.
