Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. After the deaths due to contaminated water in Indore, the water of 26 places in the district tested by the Health Department to supply pure drinking water to the people and to protect them from water-borne diseases, has been found contaminated.
On the basis of the investigation report, notice has been issued to the concerned municipal body. Sewer water has also been found in drinking water at many places. Let us tell you that on January 7, 320 water samples were taken in one day and sent for testing. 30 samples from 26 places have been found failed in the investigation.
District Surveillance Officer RK Gupta confirmed this and said that the test report of the water samples taken has been issued. If water in 26 areas is found contaminated, health camps will be organized in the concerned areas by deploying a team under the supervision of doctors to prevent diseases.

Ardash Nagar, Bhopura, Bhupendrapuri, Brij Vihar, Daulatpura, Ghookna, Harsaan, Kaila Bhatta, Kanavani, Karkad Model, Khairati Nagar, Khoda Village, Court Village, Krishna Nagar Bagu, Maharajpur II, Makanpur Village, Mirzapur, Mustafabad Loni, Panchsheel Colony, Rajiv Garden Loni, Rajnagar, Saddiq Nagar, Santosh Vihar Loni, Saraswati. Colony, Shalimar Garden, Shastri Nagar, Shivpuri, Vasundhara, Vijay Nagar-I, Vijay Nagar-II, Shipra Suncity and Ghookna Mod.
During investigation the water of these areas was found to be contaminated

The water at 26 places did not meet the standards set during testing. The water is not fit for drinking. On the basis of samples found unsatisfactory in the report, a letter has been written to the civic bodies for supply of clean drinking water in the concerned areas. The investigation report has also been sent to the bodies.
