E-KYC mandatory for beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi
Samvad Sutra, Triveniganj (Supaul). It has been made mandatory for farmers getting benefits under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana) in the subdivision area to get e-KYC done. Farmers who do not get e-KYC done will not be able to get the benefits of the scheme.
The department seems to be completely alert regarding this. On Monday, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Mukesh Kumar inspected the e-KYC camps organized in Kusaha Panchayat and Koriyapatti West Panchayat of the block area.
During this, he gave necessary guidelines to the personnel posted in the camp and directed them to speed up the work, so that e-KYC of more and more farmers can be completed on time.
Sub-divisional Agriculture Officer said that farmers who are beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can contact the farmer advisor and agriculture coordinator of their respective panchayat and get the e-KYC done. The process of e-KYC is being conducted through camps by the concerned farmer advisor and agriculture coordinator.
He clarified that those farmers who do not get e-KYC done, their payment under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be automatically stopped. In such a situation, it is very important for all the farmers to get e-KYC done on time.
Giving information about the figures, he said that a total of 78,099 PM Kisan Samman Nidhi are beneficiaries in the sub-division area. Of these, 39,523 farmers in Chhatapur block and 38,576 farmers in Triveniganj block are connected to the scheme. Till now, e-KYC of 39,896 beneficiaries has been completed in the subdivision area, while e-KYC will be done for the remaining farmers soon.
The department has appealed to the farmers to complete the e-KYC process as soon as possible to avoid any kind of problem. Dozens of farmers including Assistant Technical Manager Pankaj Kumar were present on the spot.
