Jagran correspondent, Ranchi. The Municipal Corporation is taking concrete initiatives towards making the city's main religious place, Pahari Temple and its surrounding areas encroachment free and well organized.

In this sequence, Municipal Corporation Administrator Sushant Gaurav along with the corporation's team conducted an on-site inspection of the hill temple complex and surrounding areas. A large number of devotees visit this religious place spread over an area of ​​about 27 acres every day, in view of which special emphasis was laid on convenience, security and easy transportation.

During the inspection, taking serious note of the encroachments spread on both sides of the main gate of the temple and the vehicles parked haphazardly, the Administrator directed the concerned officials to take immediate action.

While giving instructions to get the entire area measured, he also reviewed the condition of the shops allotted outside the temple premises and the shops set up temporarily. Instructions were given to take action as per rules against shopkeepers who spread puja material on the road beyond the prescribed limits.

Goods vehicles are parked on both sides of the main gate of the temple.

Inspection in the hill temple also revealed that trucks and goods vehicles are parked on both sides of the main gate of the temple since morning, which creates hindrance in the movement of devotees and common citizens.

Taking cognizance of this, the Administrator directed to impose fine on the concerned vehicles, investigate warehouses and illegal shops and ensure punitive action against those violating the rules.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, instructions were also given to identify two separate parking places, so that the vehicles are parked only at the designated places and the temple area remains jam free. The Administrator said that the Municipal Corporation is fully committed to ensure that the devotees visiting the hill temple do not face any inconvenience.

Planned action will be taken to make the temple and the entire surrounding area encroachment free, clean and well maintained. He also appealed to the citizens for cooperation.

Apart from this, the areas around Shani Temple located on Harmu Road and Gadikhana Chowk were also inspected. During this, instructions were given to prepare a detailed report after assessing the nature, extent and condition of the land situated on both sides.

Under the instructions of the State Government, the process of developing encroachment free area on both sides of Harmu Road, construction of well-organized path-way and marking of Municipal Corporation land is also going on. During the inspection, Additional Administrator Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Administrator Ravindra Kumar, Municipal Manager and other officials and personnel of the Municipal Corporation were present. Taking cognizance of this problem, the administrator directed to impose fine on the concerned vehicles, investigate warehouses and illegal shops and ensure punitive action against those violating the rules.

There should be two parking near the hill temple

For the convenience of the devotees coming to the hill temple, instructions were given to the corporation officials to identify two separate parking places, so that the vehicles are parked only at the designated parking places and the temple area can be kept jam free.

The Administrator said that Ranchi Municipal Corporation is fully committed to ensure that the devotees visiting the hill temple do not face any inconvenience. A planned and concrete initiative will be taken by the Corporation towards keeping the hill temple and its surrounding area free from encroachment, clean and well maintained.
