Jagran correspondent, Ghazipur. 22 days have passed since the famous triple murder case of Gahmar, but the police has still not been able to expose the entire network. Recently, during the encounter, two criminals carrying a reward of Rs 50 thousand each were arrested, but out of the 11 named accused, only five have been able to reach jail so far. The absconding of the remaining accused has given the police sleepless nights.
This triple murder that took place on the night of 24 December had shocked the entire area. The people of Khelu Rai Patti together brutally murdered Vicky Singh, resident of Khemnarai Patti, Saurabh Singh of Baburai Patti and Ankit Singh, resident of Chidi Chaura, Shadiabad, and the bodies were thrown in a nearby pond. Ankit Singh lived at his maternal home in Ghopal Rai Patti of Gahmar.

Five police teams are continuously raiding the surrounding districts as well as the neighboring states, yet they are not achieving success. Police have announced a reward to put pressure on the absconding accused.
A reward of Rs 50 thousand has been announced on Amit Singh, the main accused in the case, while a reward of Rs 25 thousand each has been announced on Lakhan alias Vikas Singh and Arvind.
