The team of Food Safety and Drug Administration Department had collected samples from different food shops across the district and sent them to the lab for testing. After the report came from the lab, a case was filed in the ADM court. After completion of the hearing, the ADM court announced its decision. Most of the samples of cheese and other sweets failed. Apart from this, chilli powder, flour etc. are also included.
A fine of Rs 1 lakh was imposed on Taj Halal located at Mamura village in Noida for failure of chicken sample, Rs 4.5 lakh for failure of Kalakand sample from Ramram Ji Kalakand Bhandar located at Panchayatan village, Rs 3.10 lakh for failure of paneer sample from Garhwal Paneer and Khoya Bhandar located at Atta Market in Noida, Rs 4.5 lakh for failure of Bundi Laddu sample from Aggarwal Sweets in Sector 58, Noida. A fine of Rs 3.60 lakh was imposed when a sample of khoya from Aggarwal Sweets in Sector 12 failed.
At the same time, Rs 3.5 lakh for failure of red chutney sample from Momos and Chinese Corner in Surajpur, Rs 50 thousand for failure of gram flour sample from AB Enterprises in Sector 121 of Noida, Rs 25 thousand for failure of green chutney sample from Shiv Nadar University, Rs 1 lakh for failure of Halal Chicken Meat Shop in Tugalpur, Rs 1 lakh for flour from Yellow Chilli restaurant in Sector 63. A fine of Rs 25 thousand has been imposed on the failure of the sample of chilli and Rs 4.10 lakh has been imposed on the failure of the sample of Anand Rajasthani brand chilli present in Dhoom Manikpur Badalpur Amka Road.
