Jagran correspondent, Faridabad. A sudden thick and long crack on the banks of Yamuna river in the area of Dungarpur village created a stir. Renewal structure is being built by Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority near Darar. The workers engaged in construction informed the authorities about this. Officers reached the spot and investigated. On receiving the information, many villagers had also reached there.
Due to such a thick crack, there was a fear that the land here might be eroded towards Yamuna. There was also a possibility of land subsidence. Renewal would have been in greatest danger of this. But thankfully nothing like this happened. On the other hand, SDO Jitendra Kumar of the authority said that occurrence of cracks is normal. Because this time the water level of Yamuna river had increased significantly. Due to which the under construction Renewal was filled with water.
Now the water has gone down. The sun is also shining brightly. That's why there is a crack in the ground. There is no harm to Renewal from this. The crack is not too deep. By plowing this land it will be seen how deep the crack is. If necessary, soil will be poured. Renewal work is going on smoothly.
