Dialogue partner, Rosa. Insulators in the 33 thousand line coming from Pana to Utsaliya sub-centre got damaged due to fog. After changing the insulator, with electricity coming for half an hour, there was again a technical problem in Pana Power House, due to which about 208 villages of Atsaliya and Badshahnagar power sub-station lost power for about 12 hours.
The power supply reached Atsaliya power substation at around 7 pm on Wednesday night, but the supply to the Baratara and Mukarampur feeder lines started even after noon. Due to non-availability of electricity from the Atsalia power sub-centre, about 29 thousand people of 208 villages along with 40 industrial units along with all the feeders of the Badshahnagar power sub-centre along with Atsalia had to face problems. There was a problem in the line in Niamatpur and Cantt area on the main line coming from 132 power house located at Pana to Atsalia and Badshahnagar power sub-centre.
Due to which the industrial line along with nine feeders connected to both the sub-stations lost power. Started the work of repairing broken electric poles in Niyamatpur, Cantt area. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Junior Engineer of Atsalia Power Substation, said that the supply was stopped at night. The line was repaired in the evening.
Whereas 70 villages are connected to Kaheliya feeder of Badshahnagar. Where electricity supply is affected due to dilapidated lines since last two days. Badshah Nagar Junior Engineer Arvind Kumar said that there are about five feeders in Badshah Nagar sub-centre, out of which there are about 16 thousand electricity consumers in 140 villages. The supply has been started by night.
