Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. Minor miscreants are fearless in North Eastern district. They are not holding back from carrying out crimes like murder and robbery. The latest case is from Welcome police station area. Protesting against the robbery proved too costly for the ninth grade student. Four minors robbed a student for drinking alcohol.
When he protested, he was attacked with a knife. Ran away after the robbery. 17 year old Faiz was admitted to GTB Hospital in injured condition. Where her treatment is going on. On the complaint of the victim, Welcome police station has registered a case under several sections including robbery. Police have arrested four minors in this case and recovered a knife from them. The minors caught are of criminal nature.
Knife hit for not paying for liquor
Faiz lives with his family in Welcome area. He studies in class nine in a government school. Police said that he was returning home on foot after studying tuition on Saturday night. On the way, four minor miscreants surrounded him and started demanding money from him to drink liquor. The student refused, saying he had no money.
The miscreants first beat him and then attacked him twice with a chalk. After injuring the student, the miscreants looted Rs 350 from his pocket and fled. A team was formed under the supervision of police station incharge Rupesh Khatri. The police identified the miscreants from CCTV cameras and caught them from different places in the Welcome police station area.
