Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. GDA has filed a case against the builder in the ongoing dispute regarding the handover of MCC Signature Hiatus Society located in Rajnagar Extension. The authority alleges that the builder society is not handing over the AOA. The builder has refused to provide IFMS (Interest Free Maintenance Security) and has not even renewed the Fire NOC.
Authority Junior Engineer Imteyaz Ahmed Khan gave a complaint to the police and said that regarding the handover, meetings were held in the authority under the chairmanship of the in-charge AOA cell on 11 November and 8 December. In these, developer Annika Promoters were instructed to remove the shortcomings of the society and hand it over to the elected Apartment Owners Association (AOA).
The builder did not follow the order. After this a meeting was called on January 6. The person sent by the builder to the meeting was not authorized. The builder has refused to transfer the IFMS.
The fire NOC of the society has expired and has not been renewed, due to which the safety of the residents is in danger. ACP Nandgram Ziauddin Ahmed says that on the complaint of the authority, a case has been registered against builders Nirmal Jain and Manish Jain in Nandgram police station. Investigation is being conducted in the matter.
