State Bureau, Lucknow. To make the voter list more accurate and updated, a special Intensive Revision Campaign Day will be celebrated in the entire state on 22 February (Sunday).

On this day, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be present at all the polling places (booths) and will accept applications from citizens for adding names, making amendments or registering objections.

Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa said that on the basis of the qualifying date January 1, 2026, necessary instructions have been issued to all the District Election Officers under the Special Intensive Revision Program-2026 of the electoral rolls of the Assembly constituencies.

This special drive is being organized to receive claims and objections and to ensure expected progress at the notice stage. On the campaign day, BLOs will be present at their respective booths from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and will take necessary action by taking applications from voters.

An appeal has been made to the people whose name is not in the voter list, whose address or other details are incorrect, or who want to do a new registration, they must take advantage of this special campaign day.

Along with this, keeping in mind the work done by BLOs like giving notice to the concerned voters, visiting voters' homes for hearing on logical discrepancies and collecting Form-6 from eligible voters, the two-hour mandatory presence of BLOs at Voter Assistance Centers from 10 am to 12 noon has been abolished.
