Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. The government has approved the proposal to shift the Deputy Registrar office from Ghaziabad to Gautam Buddha Nagar. After this, the official location of the office will now be determined in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

However, the final decision regarding the arrangement of meetings in the district is yet to be taken. Presently the Deputy Registrar office is operating near Guldhar Metro Station on Meerut Road. This office is responsible for registration, administration and regulation of societies, partnership firms and chit funds.

Apart from this, matters related to the formation and operation of RWA and Apartment Owners Association (AOA) are also resolved from here. In the year 2023, a single post of Deputy Registrar was created for Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Earlier, applicants had to go to Meerut for society related matters. At present, the same officer is handling the charge of both the districts. At present the Deputy Registrar is sitting three days a week in Noida and three days in Ghaziabad. Work is being done in Noida on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, while work is being done in the Ghaziabad office on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Deputy Registrar Vaibhav Kumar said that the transfer process is being done at the government level. Where the office will be established in Gautam Buddha Nagar has not been decided yet. Further action will be taken after the order is issued from the government.
