Firing In Buxar Over Tap Tap Dispute, Woman Shot While Filling Water

Communication Assistant, Dumraon (Buxar). Late Thursday evening, the dispute arising out of the tap tap of the tap water scheme took a violent form in the scheduled settlement located in Niranjanpur village of Koran Sarai police station area.

A woman was seriously injured in the firing that took place following a minor altercation. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of tension in the entire village.

According to the information received, there was already a dispute going on regarding some issue between Sunil Paswan, resident of the above village and his real brother Arun Paswan.

On Thursday evening, an altercation started between the two parties over filling water from the tap, which soon escalated into abuse and fighting. Meanwhile, it is alleged that Arun Paswan's father Chandradeep Paswan shot at his sister-in-law Pushpa Devi (35 years) who was filling water from the tap.

The injured woman is undergoing treatment.

The bullet hit the woman's arm, due to which she got seriously injured and fell there. There was chaos after the incident. The relatives immediately took the injured woman to Sadar Hospital Buxar, where she is being given first aid. According to doctors, the woman's condition is currently stable, but she has been kept under medical observation.

Here, as soon as information about the incident was received, the police of Koran Sarai police station reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police cordoned off the incident site and started the process of collecting evidence.

Police Station Head Madhuri Kumari said that considering the seriousness of the matter, the FSL team has also been called, which is collecting evidence from the spot. He said that strict legal action will be taken against the culprit.

Till the time of sending the news, the accused had not been arrested, but the police are continuously conducting raids. This incident has once again raised the question that increasing violence over small matters is becoming a big threat to the society.
