Digital Desk, Patna. Former Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Alok Raj has been made the Chairman of Bihar Staff Selection Commission.

He was holding additional charge of BSSC, which has now been made permanent. The General Administration Department has issued its notification on Wednesday. Alok Raj was currently the Director General cum Managing Director of Bihar Police Building Construction Corporation.

The notification states that he is appointed to the post of Chairman of Bihar Staff Selection Commission for five years from January 1, 2026 or till he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
