Communication partner, Gumla. An incident of gang rape of two minor girls has come to light in Kamdara police station area. Showing promptness, the police arrested Anmol Dungdung (20), Surendra Sahu (35), Dharamjeet Cheek Badaik (28), resident of Jarakel under Bano police station of Simdega district and Sonu Badaik (22), resident of Barsloya of Kolebira police station area and sent them to judicial custody on Thursday.

According to the police, both the victims were returning late at night after attending a social program. Meanwhile, the accused arrived in a vehicle and forcibly took them to a secluded place. Where the rape incident took place. After this they fled from the incident site.

After the victim lodged an FIR in the police station, the police took prompt action and arrested all the accused within 12 hours. Police officials said that the investigation process is being carried forward rapidly in accordance with the law and concrete evidence is being collected to give strict punishment to the culprits.
