This time, book lovers will be joined by authors as well as celebrities in the World Book Fair starting at Bharat Mandapam.

The grand literary festival, the World Book Fair, starting at the Bharat Mandapam on Saturday, will give visitors an opportunity to meet not only writers but personalities from various fields including politics, writing and acting. Book lovers will be able to hear his thoughts, ask questions and, if conditions permit, even take photos with him.
According to information received from the National Book Trust (NBT), the organizer of the fair, Prime Minister Narendra Modi could not find time to inaugurate the book fair on January 10. Therefore, the formal inauguration will now be done by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
This year, the fair will be attended by prominent personalities like renowned actress and MP Hema Malini, former Union Minister and actress Smriti Irani, astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, storyteller Jaya Kishori, Grammy Award winning musician Ricky Cage and artist Shalini Pasi. Piyush Mishra will be at the fair on 11th, Smriti and Hema on 12th and Jaya on 17th January.
For the first time, directors of eight international book fairs from Germany, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, Spain, Sweden and the Czech Republic will meet book lovers at the World Book Fair. Since the theme of the fair is “Indian Military History: Valor and Knowledge @75”, many experts from the defense sector will also be present. These include Colonel SC Tyagi, Swapnil Pandey, Kuldeep Yadav, Captain (Dr.) Sunina Singh, Colonel Awadhesh and Lieutenant General Satish Dua. What is there in which hall at the World Book Fair
Our aim is to connect more and more people from Delhi and NCR region with this nine-day World Book Fair. So, there will be something to attract people of all ages. We believe that this year more people will come to this fair than the International Trade Fair.
