Jagran correspondent, Gohana. The problem that has been going on for the last three years on Julana-Gohana road will end soon. This road was completely broken during the construction of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway.
After this, potholes were formed at many places on the road, due to which the people commuting here were facing a lot of trouble. Vehicles broke down every day and there was a risk of accidents. Now this road will be widened and improved, which will directly benefit the villagers of seven villages.
The state government had given approval last month
The state government had recently given administrative approval for the improvement of Gohana-Julana road. Taking the process forward, the Public Works Department has floated tenders. part of the road

The remaining portion will be widened and improved, which will cost approximately Rs 20 crore. About 20 kilometer long road will be improved. Road width will be increased in the city part.
Concrete roads will be built in villages
Concrete roads will be built instead of bituminous in populated areas in villages. Many a times, due to overflowing of drains in populated areas in villages, roads get filled with water, due to which the bituminous layer breaks quickly. Due to this, concrete roads will be built in the villages.
The improvement of the road will directly benefit the people of Khanpur Khurd, Baroda Mor and Thuthan, Banwasa, Chhapra, Rindhana and Lijwana villages. People of these villages come and go towards Gohana and Julana every day. Due to dilapidated roads, people have to spend more time and money.

The Gohana-Julana road has been completely broken for three years. Due to potholes at many places, it takes more time to travel and there are chances of accidents. The department should complete the tender process soon and start the work, so that people can get relief.
