Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University has amended the timetable of odd semester examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate. The timetable of 23 subjects of graduation first semester has been revised. This timetable was released on 15 December. There were shortcomings in the timetable of many subjects and there were demands for changing the dates in some subjects.

In connection with the ongoing examinations in the university and affiliated colleges, the timetable for various subjects of undergraduate, postgraduate, B.Ed and certificate courses was released on 15th December. It is being told that some regular and back exams of B.Sc Agriculture were held on the same date, which is not possible.

Apart from this, the duration of these examinations was kept for one and a half hour, whereas these examinations are of three hours. After the release of the timetable, there was an uproar from universities to colleges, the timetable was changed. Its complete information will be available on https://ddugu.ac.in/. In the timetable of B.Ed first semester also, the time of examination was kept from 9 am to 12 noon. Objections were raised by many examination centers that due to examinations of other subjects being held during this period, seats would not be arranged for the students. After this, the timing of these examinations has been revised from 1 to 4 pm.

In this sequence, the examinations of Certificate in GST to be held from December 19 have been postponed. Its timetable will be released later. On the other hand, regarding the change in the timetable, the law students have accused the university administration that earlier there was a gap of one to two days between all the examinations. Now examinations are being held continuously in the new timetable.

Controller of Examinations Dr. Kuldeep Singh said that changes have been made in the timetable due to various reasons. The concerned students will have to appear at the examination centers as per the revised timetable.
