Till now, health related research from developed countries is mostly used, due to which the treatment method does not prove to be very effective. Keeping this in mind, AI Clinic was started in Jims on Friday.
Will also make hospital data available
In this clinic, hospital data will be made available to Artificial Intelligence (AI) based innovations, which can be studied and better treatment facilities can be developed. There is currently no such policy in the country that government hospitals can share their data with startups, but by joining this clinic, hospitals like AIIMS and JIMS will be able to provide data.
Private colleges including IITs, NITs will also join the clinic and help in developing innovations through their technical expertise. The monitoring committee and AI experts will brainstorm the applied innovations and data will be shared only when practical.
Will be helpful in giving accurate treatment
Dr. Additional Director General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Sujata Chaudhary launched the clinic online. CEO of Incubation Center Dr. Rahul Kumar Singh said that the data that will be available to the startups in the AI Clinic will be the country's own. The patient's genetic history, culture or pattern of the disease, etc. will be studied in the data, so that accurate treatment can be provided.
AI solution will be designed with the help of doctors
Brigadier Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Director of JIMS, said that starting AI Clinic is the need of the hour, so that innovations can directly reach patients and physicians. The clinic will be physically launched on January 6. Startups developing medical imaging, clinical support systems, data-based health solutions will be supported in the clinic. AI solution will be designed with the help of doctors. After testing it in clinical work flow, it will be ethically approved and prepared for implementation in government hospitals.
