Digital Desk, New Delhi. The body of the last person kidnapped by Israel and held hostage was found in Gaza on Monday and very soon Israel will open the Rafah crossing connecting Egypt with Gaza. With this, the first phase of the ceasefire agreement implemented between Israel and Gaza will be completed. In the second phase starting after this, Hamas will have to give up power in Gaza and its weapons.

Hamas is ready for a transfer of power but has expressed its desire to retain 10,000 of its policemen in Gaza's future government. This government is to be formed with the support of America. But Israel is opposed to this wish of Hamas. He says that if armed policemen remain in Gaza then how will Hamas be without weapons.

In a letter written to 40 thousand government employees and security personnel working in its government, Hamas has asked them to fully cooperate with the new government to be formed under the agreement brokered by America. Rest assured that their services will be retained in the new government.

Israel has not yet expressed any reaction to this letter of Hamas. Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem has said that the group is ready to transfer power to a 15-member government to be formed under the leadership of Ali Saat. Hamas is ready to provide full support for the restoration of normalcy in Gaza.
