Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Honored With Guru Teg Bahadur Award, Emphasis On Social And Women's Welfare

Haryana CM Nayab Saini honored with the 9th Patshahi Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Award.

Jagran correspondent, Rupnagar. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was specially honored with the ninth Patshahi Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Award at his residence in Chandigarh. This honor was given under the leadership of Dr. Harbans Lal (former minister), Satinder Nagi, head of District Trade Cell, Rupnagar, and Lalit Nagi, President of District Goldsmiths Association, Rupnagar. On this occasion, Dr. Harbans Lal told that Chief Minister Saini had assured government jobs to the families of Delhi riot victims on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Guru ji. The wounds of 121 families living in Haryana were healed by providing them employment under this scheme. There are many families in Punjab who lost a lot in the Delhi riots, but the government there did not provide them any facilities.

Scheme launched for women's welfare

Chief Minister Saini fulfilled his promise by depositing Rs 2,100 in the account of every woman under Lado Lakshmi Scheme for the welfare of women. With this, Haryana has become the first state in the country, where the Chief Minister is continuously ensuring minimum support price (MSP) on 25 crops to the farmers.

BJP leader Manish Verma, youth leader Gurkeerat Singh, Gurtej Singh Bhaganpur, Gurdev Singh Dera Mir Mira, Minority Cell Chairman Sucha Khan Mahadian, Zilla Parishad Randhir Singh Jhampur, Press Secretary Gurdeep Singh Bhaganpur, Sunil Verma Sonu, Youth leader Vipan Verma, BJP leader Amandeep Singh Sirhind, BJP leader Manmohan Singh Sibal, Goldsmith Association President Lalit Lalit were present at the felicitation ceremony. Nagi, Dalit leader Gurmail Singh Hamayupur, Brahma Kumar, Jaswinder Singh, Manjeet Mehra Jandali, Dr. Gurnam Singh Sodhi and other prominent people were present.
