Jagran correspondent, Hathras. Police has got a big success in the murder case of army soldier Akhilesh Kumar in Sadabad. Two more accused, Bholu and Ankit, were arrested in a police encounter at Rajbeh in Salempur village of Sadabad tehsil. Both of them were shot in the legs and have been admitted to the district hospital.
Murdered on 5th February
On February 5, Akhilesh Kumar was returning to Agra after appearing in Hathras court, when his car was surrounded and shot at over a love marriage dispute on Hathras-Sadabad road. Dolly Kumari, sister of the deceased jawan, had lodged a report in the police station against 10 named and three unidentified people.
The police have arrested them so far
Police have so far arrested Vishal and Raja on February 7, Vikram alias Bikku and Kamalkant alias KK Pandit on February 9, Hemant Kumar, Ramesh Chandra and Jagbir on Monday and sent them to jail. Now only one named accused and three unknown accused are absconding in this case, whose search is going on.
