Anil Thakur, Shimla. 130 government schools in Himachal Pradesh have got affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). To monitor these schools, a monitoring cell will be created in the Directorate of School Education. It has been named Edutrack-360 Degree. What is lacking in these schools as per CBSE standards will be reviewed every month. Its report will be sent to the government, so that improvements can be made in it. The fee structure for CBSE affiliation has not been decided yet. The fee structure will be decided after reviewing it separately. It is believed that at present the fee structure in government schools will be the same or minimum fees will be fixed, so that there is not much burden on the parents.
No post of teacher will be vacant
There will not be any vacant post of teacher in these schools, rather new vocational and professional subjects will also be started for the children. In this, subjects like environment, robotic coding will be introduced.

The color of the buildings of these schools will be different. These will look different from government schools. They will also have a symbol. A proposal on how this will happen will be sent to the directorate from the schools. The Directorate will give a final decision on this after discussing with top officials.
Apart from students, dress code will also be applicable for teachers. The government had also instructed teachers of government schools to implement voluntary dress code.
Appointment will be done according to student teacher ratio
Appointment of teachers in every school will be according to the student teacher ratio. The lecturer will be given the responsibility of teaching from class 9th to class 12th. If there is no teacher then the Principal will be able to give them the responsibility of teaching from class 1st to 12th as per alternative arrangements. There will be a staff review before the new session starts. New appointments will be made according to how many posts are vacant in which school.
72 teachers will be appointed from nursery to 12th class
According to the rules made by the department, sections will be created according to the number of children. One teacher will be deployed for 30 children from nursery to class five. If the number is more than this, two sections will have to be made. Six NTTs will be appointed for classes Bal Vatika-1, Bal Vatika-2 and Bal Vatika-3. Similarly, the same rule will be there from first to fifth class and 11 JBT teachers will be appointed. Classes six to eight have a 1:35 teacher student ratio. There will be a section of 35 children and one teacher. A total of 13 posts of TGT, LT, Shastri and DM will be created. The same arrangement will be there till 10th also. A total of 72 teachers will be appointed from nursery to class 12th.
Education Minister Rohit called a meeting on 23 January
An important meeting regarding this is going to be organized in the State Secretariat on January 23 under the chairmanship of Education Minister Rohit Thakur. Secretary Education and other officials will be present in the meeting. Decisions will be taken on how to run CBSE schools, when and how to conduct examinations, how non-teachers will be selected.
