The wife of a man resident of Bala Bigha Mohalla of Kathar village of Sherghati police station area was strangled to death on Sunday by her lover who called her on the pretext of visiting the fair. After that, her lover Sudarshan came to the police station along with the child of about two and a half years old in her lap and surrendered.
At the time of information, he described the deceased as his wife. But when the police took him along and reached the spot to recover the body, the reality turned out to be different. The mother-in-law of the deceased told that Sudarshan is not her husband. While the son was alive, he had an unhealthy relationship with his daughter-in-law.
The son had died due to epilepsy in the last few years. Police station incharge Mohan Kumar said that after the information, the police proceeded towards the spot with the accused lover. After a lot of search, the body was recovered from the mustard field located in Badhar village.
After calling Bhainsur and relatives of the deceased, the body was taken into custody and sent to Magadh Medical Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased has four minor children. He said that after the murder, the accused brought one of his minor children along with him. Gave information about the incident himself. Here, the police have recovered the body and further action is being taken.
