How will be the weather today in Jammu and Kashmir?
Jagran correspondent, Srinagar. Ten days of mild winter has started in Jammu and Kashmir from Thursday. Before this, Chilla Kalan and Chilla Khurd, having harsh and moderate winters, were completed. This time the weather has been mostly dry except snowfall in some parts during Chille Kalan and Chille Khurd.
According to Meteorological Center Srinagar, there is no possibility of any major change in the weather even till the end of February. Meanwhile, the weather remained clear on Thursday. In most parts of the state, the day temperature is 7 to 11 degrees above normal.
The maximum temperature in Srinagar was 20.1 degrees Celsius, 9.7 degrees above normal, 16.0 in Pahalgam, 11.4 in Gulmarg, 27.0 in Jammu and 24.6 degrees Celsius in Katra.
The weather remained clear throughout the day in Jammu, but a little cold was also felt. The temperature will increase if there is no major change in the upcoming weather. However, the night temperatures still remain cool.
