IIT BHU Students Made 'hydrogen E-bike' From Scrap, Got Patent

Jagran correspondent, Varanasi. The students of IIT BHU have made great achievements in the field of green energy. Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department. The hydrogen-powered e-bike made by Kalpana Chaudhary and her research team has received a patent. The research team had made this e-bike six months ago.

Dr. Kalpana told that it can be operated in three ways. In hydrogen energy mode, a 500-watt hydrogen fuel cell will be used, while in battery mode, a 24-volt battery-based electric system will be used, and in manual mode, it will be used by pedaling like a normal bicycle.

Dr. Kalpana and her research team Mitanshu Meena, Aishwarya and Atharva converted an old and useless bicycle into a high-tech e-bike in just three months.
