Unknown criminals riding fearless on Tuesday night attacked 50-year-old Arun Kumar Kesari, father of late, proprietor of M/s Gayatri Store, a wholesaler of cosmetics located near Shastri Chowk Kothi Haat in the city. Parmeshwar Prasad Kesari was shot and seriously injured.
After the incident, the businessman's family members and local people took him to Sub-Divisional Hospital Forbesganj for treatment. Where the doctor on duty in the hospital, Dr. Munna Kumar and other doctors have referred him outside for better treatment after first aid.
The bullet hit the businessman's right arm. As soon as the information was received, a large number of businessmen and social workers of the city reached the sub-divisional hospital and started collecting information about the incident from the injured businessman. The seriously injured businessman, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital, said that he and his son Rupesh Kumar were at their shop late on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, two unknown armed criminals riding on a bike suddenly arrived at the shop and at gunpoint asked them to give money. The victim, a seriously injured businessman, said that when he asked where he had the money, the criminal opened fire on him.
The bullet hit his right arm. As soon as the bullet was fired, both the criminals ran away rapidly towards Kothihat canal on a bike. Told that one of the two criminals was covering his face, while the face of the other was uncovered.
Here, as soon as information about the incident was received, SDPO Mukesh Kumar Saha, Police Station Head Raghavendra Kumar Singh reached Sadalbal Sub-Divisional Hospital, took information about the incident from the seriously injured businessman undergoing treatment and got involved in the investigation.
When asked, SDPO said that a businessman who was a wholesaler of cosmetics near Kesari Mohalla Kothihat was shot. The businessman is out of danger. Police is investigating the matter.
