A bus full of tourists got stuck in the air in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.

A private bus filled with tourists suddenly slipped and went out of control near Chhannikhod on the Bhuntar-Manikaran road. The bus slipped off the road and headed towards a ditch, but fortunately it stopped on the roadside. If the bus had not stopped, it could have reached the Parvati river flowing below. At the time of the accident, a large number of tourists were traveling in the bus, whose lives were safe. According to eyewitnesses, there was screams on the spot as soon as the bus went out of control. There was an atmosphere of panic among the passengers for a few moments. The local people showed promptness and helped the passengers in the bus to get out safely. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police and administration team also reached the spot and took stock of the situation. It is a matter of relief that there were no casualties in the accident.

Difficulty increased due to freezing of frost and water on the road

It is being told that these days, slippage has increased due to frost on many roads of the district including Bhuntar-Manikaran. Apart from this, the poor condition of the roads has also become a cause of trouble for the drivers. The risk of accidents remains high especially in the morning and evening. Drivers lose control of the vehicle at the slightest mistake.

No warning signs or crash barriers

Local people and tourists have demanded the administration to make concrete arrangements for road safety. He says that warning signs, crash barriers and regular road maintenance are necessary on sensitive routes, so that such incidents can be avoided in future. The administration has also appealed to the passengers to exercise caution and drive at a safe speed during bad weather and frost.
