In Lucknow, A Youth Riding A Bike Got His Neck Cut By A Manja, Died During Treatment.

Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. Manjha got stuck in the neck of 33-year-old Mohammad Shoaib, who was going on a bike on Wednesday evening near Haiderganj bridge located at Bulaki Adda. Before Shoaib could understand anything, the veins in his neck were cut by the manja. Somehow he stopped the bike and fell unconscious on the road.

With the help of passersby, he was taken to the trauma center where doctors declared him dead. Police have sent the body for post-mortem. The surrounding area is being investigated. Shoaib, a resident of Machli Mandi, Dubagga, was a Medical Representative (MR) in a private company. Elder brother Shariq told that on Wednesday afternoon he was going from Chowk towards Haiderganj for company work wearing a helmet on the bike. Suddenly a manjha got stuck around his neck on the over bridge.

Before Shoaib could understand anything, Manjha completely cut the veins in his neck. Shoaib fell on the road bleeding. Meanwhile, there was chaos on the bridge. People immediately informed the police about the incident. Bazaarkhala police reached the spot and admitted Shoaib to the Trauma Center of King George Medical University with the help of passersby.

Doctors declared him dead due to excessive bleeding and serious neck wounds. Bazarkhala Inspector Brajesh Singh told that Manjha had come from somewhere above the bridge. A search operation is being conducted in the surrounding areas regarding this. Efforts are also being made to investigate through CC footage. It is not yet clear from which side Manjha had come. It is also being ascertained whether Manjha was Chinese or not. Wife becomes upset, daughter's tears are not stopping

When wife Fauzia got information about the incident, she became infuriated. Relatives somehow managed him. After the incident, Shoaib's six-year-old daughter Bushra's tears are not stopping. She is repeatedly insisting on going to her father. Shoaib's second daughter Iqra is just one year old. After the incident, Shoaib's mother Awda is also unable to control herself. Demand to ban kite flying around bridges

After the incident, a large number of local people reached the spot. After this many people also came to the trauma center. People have demanded a ban on kite flying around bridges. Elder brother Shariq told that the police runs a campaign against Chinese Manjha but desi Manjha is easily sold in many shops in the markets. Deadly glass is also used in this. He has demanded a ban on Manjha. According to brother, kite flying is also done by betting in many areas of old Lucknow.
