Jagran correspondent, Ambala. The investigation of the SIT formed by the SP in the conspiracy to blow up the Baldev Nagar police station has been completed. SIT has termed Pakistani Shahzad Bhatti as the mastermind in this entire case. The team has submitted this report to the SP and now further investigation will be done by NIA.
So far, Ambala Police has arrested 7 accused in this case and sent them to jail. These include accused Karmjeet, resident of Patiala, accused Saurabh and his brother Akash, resident of Firozpur Punjab, Raman, Amarjeet, Satyam and Sukhdev, residents of Firozpur. On the other hand, even after a month has passed, the FSL report of the explosive material kept in the car parked by the accused Karmjeet in Baldev Nagar police station is still awaited.
Only after this will it be confirmed what type of explosive it was and what was its brand. The links of all the arrested accused have been found to be linked to Pakistani Shehzad Bhatti. Shehzad Bhatti would contact the youth of the village bordering Pakistan and buy Indian SIMs from the accused Satyam, Sukhdev, Amarjeet and Raman.
Investigation has also revealed that in exchange for these SIMs, accused Shehzad Bhatti used to send drugs to the said accused as per demand. Let us tell you that as part of a conspiracy, on January 10, the accused had kept gas cylinders of 5 kg each in Baldev Nagar police station of Ambala city and had kept explosive material with them and set the vehicle on fire and made a video of it.
After this the accused Karmjeet left the police station. But this fire could not reach the cylinders because there were regulators installed on them. Later the accused posted this video on social media.
