Drivers should be given strict instructions by challaning vehicles that do not follow traffic rules. Every complainant reaching the police station should be treated in a friendly manner and his complaint should be resolved on priority basis. These instructions were given by the SP in the crime review meeting held in the auditorium of Police Lines on Friday.

On Friday, SP Ganesh Prasad Saha held a crime review meeting with all the circle officers and police station in-charges in the auditorium of Police Lines. He took information from the in-charge about the cases registered in the police stations within a month and the action taken in them.
Giving strict instructions to clear the pending investigations and arrest the absconding criminals, the SP said that in order to prevent criminal elements from becoming active at night during the winter season, all the in-charges should make vehicle checking in their respective areas to make night patrolling more effective. Communicate with traders in their respective areas and listen to their problems and get them resolved.
