Digital Desk, Gwalior. The ongoing Indigo flight crisis in Gwalior has increased the troubles of passengers. While IndiGo's Gwalior-Delhi flight operated normally on Wednesday, the Gwalior-Mumbai flight has been postponed till December 13. The Airport Authority shared its official information.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who reached Gwalior from Delhi, also reacted to the flight delay situation and said that he himself had to wait for about one and a half hours at the airport.
According to Airport Director Lokesh Yadav, the operation of Mumbai-Gwalior and Gwalior-Mumbai flights has currently been stopped by the airline company. However, Bengaluru-Gwalior-Bengaluru and Delhi-Gwalior-Delhi flights are running smoothly as per schedule, due to which major routes are not being affected.
The airport director said that to ensure the convenience of passengers, the airline is already informing all affected passengers so that they can make necessary changes in their travel plans. Airports Authority of India is continuously monitoring the situation and coordinating with airlines to ensure that no passenger services are affected. Security, check-in and all other basic services are fully available at the airport.
