Makeup artist, social activist and internet media influencer Harsha Rizhariya. Awakening

Jagran correspondent, Prayagraj. I did not say that I am a saint. Does one become a Sadhu or Sadhvi just by wearing saffron clothes? Sannyasa has a difficult process and tradition, which is not easy to adopt. Right now I am not capable of walking on that path. This is what makeup artist, social worker and internet media influencer Harsha Rizhariya has to say.

Harsha, who became famous as a beautiful Sadhvi in Mahakumbh-2025, is currently running a campaign to free the youth from drug addiction. Under the banner of Sarvangeen Samriddhi Samaj Utthan Samiti, Harsha will launch a big campaign on December 27 from Srikatra Ramlila Committee premises, Prayagraj.

While talking to Dainik Jagran, he did not rule out marriage or becoming a Sadhvi. She said, anything can happen in the future, but she will never separate herself from the propagation of Sanatan Dharma. This is the aim of his life. Here is the main part of the conversation... Q. How did you leave the form of a Sadhvi and suddenly associate yourself with social work? A. I was not a saint at all. Nor did I ever promote myself as a Sadhvi. This is the contribution of internet media. He promoted me as a Sadhvi. I deny this on every platform. As far as social work is concerned, she used to do it earlier also and is still doing it. Q. In Mahakumbh-2025, your form was that of a Sadhvi. You used to wear saffron clothes, big garlands around your neck, sandalwood on your forehead. Now why are you disillusioned with that? A. Mahakumbh was the center of spiritual energy of Sanatan Dharma. Every person who spends time on the sands of Sangam comes into a feeling of renunciation. I was also in the same feeling. Like me, many people wore saffron clothes, wore garlands and applied sandalwood. Have they adopted sannyasa? It's not like that. Q. Have you changed your format to work in films? A. It's not like that. After Mahakumbh, I got offers to work on many web series and OTT, but I refused because I do not want to go into that field. I am avoiding the Sadhvi tag because I am not worthy of it. To become a Sadhvi one has to sacrifice home and family. I have to do penance, I can't do that. I cannot abandon my family and sacrifice myself. I am doing whatever I can in the national interest by connecting with family and society. Will she become a Sadhvi in future?A. Look, it is not possible to say what will happen in the future. Anything may be possible in the future. There is no refusal to marry or to become a Sadhvi, but I don't know whether that will happen. Yes, it is certain that my campaign for the propagation of Sanatan Dharma and in the national interest will always continue.

Q. You are motivating the youth to stay away from drugs, how successful will you be in this? A. Drug addiction is the biggest problem among the youth. This is not good for the interest of the nation and society. Due to this their future is being ruined. We have to together free them from drug addiction. For this, I am running a campaign under the All-round Prosperity Society Utthan Samiti. Glad that people from every section of the society are joining this campaign. People from every state are trying to contribute to this sacred work. With this I am confident that we will be successful in bringing about change. Q. Why are you starting Nari Jagruti Empowerment Campaign from Prayagraj? A. I always wanted that when I start a new work, it should be from Prayagraj, because this city has given me a lot. It is from here that we have gained recognition at the global level. This city is the king of pilgrimages. The power of Mahadev resides here, hence I have decided to start the campaign from Prayagraj.
