Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur. A pair of passenger trains running between Hansdiha-Bhagalpur have been cancelled. Girder launching work will be done by Railways as part of the construction work of Road Over Bridge (ROB). For this, there will be a three-hour block on January 9 from 12.50 pm to 3.50 pm on the Bhagalpur-Tikani single line section of Malda Railway Division. On January 10 and 11, 2026, there will be a two and a half hour traffic and power block from 1.15 pm to 3.45 pm. Due to which 73444/73443 Bhagalpur – Hansdiha – Bhagalpur DMU passenger train will remain canceled on 9, 10 and 11 January 2026. Railway officials said that this block up will be taken after the passing of Howrah-Jamalpur Vande Bharat Express (22309), so that there is minimal impact on the operation of long distance trains.
