Entertainment Desk, New Delhi. The film 'Dhurandhar', released on December 5, created a stir at the box office as soon as it was released. Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt starrer film has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the Indian box office within a week.
Apart from the story of this film, the audience is also liking the performance of the stars. When Aditya Dhar had released the trailer of the film, he had told that 'Dhurandhar' is a story inspired by real life, after which questions were being raised in the minds of the fans about the characters of all the stars. The fans have cracked who is seen in which character, but it has not been officially confirmed by the makers. Now recently R Madhavan has given a hint about his character.
Ajit Doval becomes R Madhavan?
After the first look of R Madhavan was revealed, there was a different curiosity in the minds of the fans, because the fans were surprised to see this transformation of Maddy. R Madhavan is playing the role of IB director Ajay Sanyal in the film. A discussion started on social media that R Madhavan's character in 'Dhurandhar' is inspired by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

These rumors got fueled when Maddy shared a video of Ajit Doval on his official Instagram story, in which he is reminiscing about the IC-814 hijacking incident that took place in 1999, as shown in the beginning of the film 'Dhurandhar'. Although, the actor has neither confirmed nor confirmed the news of playing the character of Ajit Doval, but he has definitely given him a hint that his character of Dhurandhar is not just a coincidence.
Who is Ajit Doval?
For those who do not know about Ajit Doval, let us tell them that he is the fifth and current National Security Advisor of the country. Before assuming this position, he was a respected IPS officer of Kerala cadre and worked with the Intelligence Bureau for several decades. According to Business Standard, he is one of India's most accomplished intelligence officers. He has carried out major missions to save India from many terrorist attacks, due to which he is also called the James Bond of India.
R Madhavan has a lesser role in 'Dhurandhar', due to which the fans were a little disappointed, but the actor has definitely promised his fans that he will be seen more in the second part.
