In order to strengthen Mission Yuva at the grassroots level in the district, the District Employment and Counseling Center organized special training for youth ambassadors. In which the responsibilities of the youth ambassadors were decided and they were motivated to provide guidance to the unemployed youth. A youth ambassador training program was organized under Mission Yuva by the District Employment and Counseling Center Udhampur in the conference hall located in the DC office premises. In which the role of the youth ambassadors was clarified and they were motivated to work as per the progress of the mission at the Panchayat and city ward level. In this training, special emphasis was laid on area-wise mapping of youth ambassadors according to various schemes and assigning them clear responsibilities and result-based targets based on local needs. So that effective implementation of the schemes can be ensured at the grassroots level. ADDC Udhampur Jugal Kishore Anand and Joint Director Employment Jammu Paramjit Singh participated in the program. Highlighting the rapid progress being made under Mission Yuva, he appealed to the Youth Ambassadors to provide guidance to the unemployed youth. He called upon the youth to become employment providers by adopting self-employment instead of searching for jobs. This occasion was organized under the guidance of Deputy Director of Employment Mohindra Sharma and Assistant Director of Employment Udhampur Priyanka Gupta. He presented detailed information related to Mission Yuva and provided updated information to the participants. All the District Business Development Unit members gave active cooperation in the successful organization of the program.
