If the prediction of Meteorological Center Srinagar is correct then we will get the gift of snowfall on New Year. According to the department, there will be a change in the weather from December 30 and from this period till December 1, there are chances of rain and snowfall in some parts.
Cold wave will increase in case of snowfall. It is extremely cold in Leh, Kargil, Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Meanwhile, the weather remained clear in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
