Victim Gautam Kumar told that a call came at 2.51 pm on Saturday afternoon and said that he was speaking as a junior engineer of the electricity department.

After this the cyber criminal recharged Rs 100 each thrice. Last time he was asked to give the details of his pay phone and after this Rs 19,500 was withdrawn from his account in three accounts. The victim has given a written application in this regard at 1930, Tilkamanjhi and Cyber police stations. The police is investigating the matter Electricity Department officials have appealed to the consumers that JE to SE of the department should not call like this and ask for updates. If such a call comes then to know the truth go to the office and contact the concerned officer.
Advocate Santosh Kumar has filed an application at Tilkamanjhi police station, pleading for justice. He told the police that he was preparing the file at 5.30 in the evening in his office located in the court premises. Meanwhile, a customer came and started abusing them. After this, more than half a dozen people together beat him. Due to which his leg got seriously injured. Tilkamanjhi police station incharge said that applications have been received from both the parties. The matter is being investigated.
