Kanpur Gold Rate: Silver Close To Rs 2 Lakh, New Record For Gold Too

Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. Kanpur Gold Rate: This year, common customers who have bought gold and silver jewelery or biscuits in the form of bullion have got a lot of benefits. These jewelery and biscuits can become a good support for them in the future. Silver, which was Rs 88,600 per kg on January 1, has currently reached Rs 1,98,500 per kg. It has given 124 percent profit to the customers so far. While silver has reached close to Rs 2 lakh, gold also reached a new record on Friday. Gold, which was Rs 78,600 per 10 grams on January 1, has increased by 71 percent to Rs 1,34,700 per 10 grams.

Silver has been continuously making new records in the last three days. Silver, which had crossed the mark of Rs 1 lakh 90 thousand on December 10, became Rs 1,93,400 per kg on December 11, whereas on Friday it rose by Rs 5,100 and reached Rs 1,98,500 per kg. This is the highest price of silver till date in Kanpur bullion market.

On the other hand, gold has also made its new record. Gold has reached Rs 1,34,700 per 10 grams. However, if we look at the growth rate of gold this year, on January 1, 2025, gold was at Rs 78,600, which by Friday had reached Rs 1,34,700 with an increase of 71.37 percent. According to Ram Kishore Mishra, Secretary of UP Bullion Association, the rate at which silver is increasing, it will reach beyond Rs 2 lakh.
